Title:

“Main explanatory mechanisms for the diffuse and fragmented development of current cities. Analysis of the urban areas of Madrid and Granada (Spain)"

Tasks

  • • Studying the main explanatory mechanisms for the diffuse and fragmented development of current cities: their application to the urban areas of Madrid and Granada.
  • Conducting a comprehensive study of the current urban growth patterns from a theoretical point of view, as well as analysing the consequences of such urban growth on the two metropolitan areas selected through the use of Geographic Information Technologies (GITs).
