Aims of the first participatory workshop "parameterisation of the cellular automata model"
To involve stakeholders with knowledge about the Doñana natural area in the modelling process, to achieve a greater participation of key local agents, permitting their specialist local knowledge to be incorporated in the definition of the model parameters themselves. With this aim, the following activities were undertaken:

- May 2011 - Analysis of land cover change inside the 14 National Parks has been completed. The work was carried out using cross-tabulation analysis of corine land cover maps over 3 dates, 1990, 2000, 2006.
